Bassist Willie Basse stepped away from the limelight for a few years to pursue a career in real estate, but music was always his calling. A fixture on L.A’s Sunset Strip in the ‘80s, Basse fronted metal’s BLACK SHEEP which at various times included as members Slash (ex-GUNS N’ ROSES), Paul Gilbert (RACER X/MR.BIG), James Kottak (SCORPIONS/WARRANT), and the late Randy Castillo (OZZY OSBOURNE/MOTLEY CRUE). Currently, he’s recording bass parts for SNEW’s new album. In November, he becomes a Rock N’ Roll fantasy camp instructor (at the Playboy Mansion) along with KISS’ Paul Stanley and DOKKEN’s George Lynch and if that wasn’t enough he’s on a mission to feed the homeless in America and will embark on the Feed America Tour. The goal of the tour is to raise awareness, collect non-perishable goods for local food shelters and, of course, to rock.
