ARCH ENEMY / TRIVIUM - Mastery In Montreal!

One of the biggest tours of the fall finally hit Montreal on November 5th and MTelus! Since co-headline tours are becoming the norm in order to get huge crowds even when mixing different genres, here we are tonight with Arch Enemy and Trivium. Fit For An Autopsy and While She Sleeps gave all they had to warm up one of the many sold out venue of the tour.
With Trivium it always is a lot of energy on stage with an especially strong light work tonight. Matt Heafy speaks in French to a crowd in total fury, it has already been a couple years since they last came to Montreal and everyone was eager to hear more of their new album. Finally the second headline of the night: Arch Enemy hits the stage! Their new album Will To Power comes with some very powerful live songs (I especially liked “The Race”, crazy moment!) with the always amazing sound of Amott and Loomis. Alissa was playing her hometown and she did not forget to mention that after all the shows she saw in this venue, it was her first time headlining the night with her band. Special night for her, that’s for sure!
