Long slog, through a multiple day metal festival. Some bands live up to expectations, others appear out of the woodwork. The final night of Bang Your Head was headlined by Hammerfall, playing their Glory To The Brave album. Also high on the list of must see acts was Michael Schenker, who brought along singers Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet (in pink dress jacket and tie) and Robin McAuley. Hotly touted next generation thrashers Evil Invaders were on hand, as well as Canada's own Kataklysm. Don Dokken offered a hit filled set, as did Diamond Head. Vicious Rumors showcased a new line-up, while NWOBHM veterans Raven entertained mid-day. Early on it was Vain and German thrash veterans Assassin.
