As the sun finally appeared and fried the Northern Europeans to a crisp, the music was doing the same to their eardrums, courtesy of a stellar line-up, which leaned heavily on homegrown products. Swedish heavy rockers Black Trip kicked things off with a dose of Thin Lizzy inspired metal, followed by the ladies of Girlschool and Delain, as well as Tankard, Great White, Grave Digger, Uriah Heep, Tyketto, former Accept frontman Dirkschneider (playing only songs from his former employer, as he will do in North America, come the new year), Unleashed and a finale by Iced Earth.
