DEATH ANGEL, SANCTUARY And More Kick-Off Bang Your Head!!! 2017

So you've got nearly 20,000 "guests" camped out in Balingen, a small town in southern Germany, waiting for the three-day Bang Your Head!!! festival. Lest the natives, some of whom have been hanging out since the start of the week, get restless, organizers have long hosted an additional (read: paid) Warm-up show, the night before the main event. Once housed in a motorcycle bar, a stone's throw from the concert/camp grounds, in recent years it's been held at the spacious Volksbank Halle, which also welcomes BYH's nightly indoor gigs. On Wednesday, July 12th, it was overtaken by headliners Death Angel (on after midnight), as well as Sanctuary, Angel Dust, Bloodbound and Stormwarrior.
