What was supposed to be Finnish Friday (with appearances, in order, by Battle Beast, Sonata Arctica, Children Of Bodom, Shiraz Lane, Wintersun and Amorphis) was hampered by a late day rain storm, that lasted into early evening. Thankfully, it was less than anticipated, as there were loudspeaker warnings blaring across the infield all day, regarding the potential severity of a thunder/hail barrage that never materialized. However, Simone Simmons (she of the reflective silver eyeliner) and Epica were one of the day's bright spots, but the Day 3 belonged to Kreator and once the deluge ceased, drudged through the unlit quagmire to check out Gloryful on the Camel stage. Other visuals include the annual pig roast vendor and wood carved statues (done on the premises) of members of Amon Amarth, in a longboat.
