While there were rides, exotic food choices and a craft beer garden, most were lured to the inaugural two-day event, in Clark, NJ by big stage rock headliners. Instead of Stone Temple Pilots and Godsmack, BraveWords focused on the various canons in the metal umbrella, new and old, including local legends Prophet and TT Quick (featuring Accept singer Mark Tornillo), heavier entries Clutch and Anthrax, as well as the Birch Hill stage, where L.A. Guns and Lita Ford played to an ever expanding crowd, that spilled beyond the confines of the tented area. A full report will be online soon.
