Metal Church has enjoyed a career renaissance of sorts when former vocalist Mike Howe rejoined the band and subsequently released a new, hard-hitting album XI. The band will soon start a supporting role for Megadeth’s fall North American tour along with Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, and Butcher Babies. Quite the bill!
These photos are from the Church’s headline show at Oddbody’s in Dayton, OH from September 16th. The guys were firing on all cylinders and showcased tracks from XI and the other albums that featured Howe (Blessing In Disguise, The Human Factor, Hanging In The Balance). Only three tracks were played from the David Wayne days (“Start The Fire”, “Watch The Children Pray”, and “Beyond The Black”).
