Variety of metallic sub-genres on display, although camera issues prevented capturing all the glory. Technicalities aside, was still able to witness the undying power of Testament onstage: skillful array of classics, plus Chuck Billy's booming voice. What more do you need? In Flames played to a massive sea of humanity. Tobias Sammet brought out nearly as many guests stars, during Avantasia's headlining set (I kid, I kid). In complete contrast, while Tobi & Co. were on the main stage, the diametrically opposed sounds of Deicide were keeping blackened hearts enthralled. Something for everyone, at Summer Breeze! A full report on the festival will be posted, soon.
