Las Vegas rock group THE KILLERS have scored their third number one album in the UK with Day & Age, beating Guns N' Roses heavily-anticipated new album. Axl Rose's Chinese Democracy, rumoured to be the most expensive album ever recorded, landed at number two.
Chinese Democracy, has now achieved the following first-week chart positions so far around the world:
Canada: #1
Finland: #1
UK: #2
Ireland: #3
Netherlands: #4
Sweden: #4
Spain: #12
