Video footage of SERPENT'S RISE drummer Derek Roddy (ex-HATE ETERNAL, MALEVOLENT CREATION, NILE) at the Axis Booth yesterday (January 16th) at NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) can be viewed below. NAMM is being held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California until January 18th.
According to Wikipedia, since his departure from Hate Eternal, Roddy has become a featured drum clinician for a number of companies, including Meinl Cymbals, Vater Percussion, and Sonor Drums. He has been featured as a solo performer at the Singapore Drum Festival, Meinl Drum Festival, DrummerLive, and most recently, at the 2008 Modern Drummer Festival. Thus far, he has performed on every continent except Africa and Antarctica - either as a clinician or touring musician.
