LAAZ ROCKIT have announced an all ages show in Modesto, CA on March 21st. The venue will be confirmed soon.
As previously reported, Laaz Rockit frontman Michael Coons is featured in a new interview with RockPages.gr. An excerpt is available below.
Rockpages.gr : Would you characterize Left For Dead as your rebirth?
Coons: "The title of the new disc is a reference to how we felt the music business felt about us and countless other bands from our era. The music business and the art of playing music are two very different things, in my opinion. Sometimes it is difficult to co-exist, and in our case the emergence of other more popular trends and the guys starting families and other businesses led us to hang it up for awhile. Fortunately, our sense of brotherhood and friendship never wavered, and we always entertained the idea of doing it again, if the right opportunity presented itself. We always felt playing live shows was our best strength, so when we decided to do that again, that wasn't any apprehension. But recording a new disc is an entirely different beast altogether, and having so much time elapsed from the last one together, it has a feel like it is a first one all over again. So, yes, it is a rebirth."
