PAIN Tour Diary Revived; Latest Entry Available
March 13, 2009, 15 years ago
Swedish industrial-metal pioneers PAIN, run by mastermind Peter Tägtgren, are currently supporting Finnish megastars NIGHTWISH on their European Déjà Vu Tour 2009.
Pain check in with the following message: "We're back on the road with Nightwish again, this time also accompanied by INDICA. Therefore we have revived the notorious Pain tour diary that you'll find at mobilblogg.net/pain so that you can follow all our trials and errors day by day.
Everything tastes better when you've had it before!"
The latest entry, dated for today (March 13th) reads: "Thank you London! We apologize for the delay that caused the late opening. We’ve heard that people were still waiting in line when we and Indica played. It’s often like that the first show on a tour when everything has to fit in place for the first time. The impression we got from you were amazing thou, and it felt great to be back in London.
After the show we had to leave immediately to catch the night ferry to France, and we woke up the bus had already parked behind the venue in Brussels. We took a walk to a nearby supermarket and bought liquids and canned food. The rest of the day was spent with many movies, a couple of flashbacks and some liquids. Now I know the reason this tour is named Déjà vu Tour 2009. Been there, done that.
Today we’re only 3 people left in the bus. All others have deserted the camping life and taken refuge in the same hotel as Nightwish. A shower, a toilet, and a real meal can make wonders for the wellbeing.
Everything tastes better with a trolley full of booze!"
