WARBRINGER has kicked off touring in support of their upcoming sophomore release, titled Waking Into Nightmares, which will hit shelves on May 19th.

Unfortunately, the band has run into a problem as drummer Nic Ritter faced a major injury recently, breaking his elbow after slipping on ice after a recent show.

Warbringer has vowed to continue on, however, with guitarist Adam Carroll on drums until they meet up with EPICUREAN, whose drummer John Gensmer has agreed to play both sets.

Warbringer comments: “Unfortunately this is not an April's Fools joke. Nic fell down the other night loading out of the club and hurt his elbow. We hoped with some ice and rest it would be okay. This morning we found out it was broken. Regardless, the shows must go on and we rehearsed as a 4-piece with Adam playing drums. This will be the format for the next handful of shows until we hook up with Epicurean, as John Gensmer has agreed to play both sets. We toured together on Overkill and he is a beast. Nic will be out of commission for at least 3 weeks, but will be staying on the road with the band.”

Warbringer has now posted the artwork for Waking Into Nightmares on their official MySpace page. The band is also excited to announce an exclusive pre-order package that will be available with the band on the road. Anyone who preorders Waking Into Nightmares from their merch table will be handed a strictly limited edition 2 song single with exclusive mixes of 'Severed Reality' and 'Prey for Death'. They will then get the CD mailed to them on street date.

Waking Into Nightmares will be released on May 19th, 2009 via Century Media Records. Check out WARBRINGER on the road throughout 2009!
