Germany's SINNER have issued the following:

"Moscow Report - April 4th, 2009:

It was the third time PRIMAL FEAR and Sinner played a show together after Tokyo, Reichenbach/Germany and now Moscow. Because of the new Primal Fear album recordings and promotion activities, there was not so much time to prepare and PF drummer Randy Black had important confirmed dates at the Frankfurt music fair. We don’t want to cancel the date and checked for a solution, because we don’t want to disappoint our loyal fans in Russia. First choice, Randy’s predessecor Klaus Sperling offerd us to do the job and practiced like a maniac to deiver a great job! Well, let’s get the party started!

After changing planes and some nice logistic trouble, we’d finally arrived on a different airport in Moscow and 3 hrs later than expected. Our partners still made it, to organized a shuttle at the right place - we had dinner together in the 1Rock Club with great sushi & steaks, a quick look at the venue and later some drinks at the hotel bar.

The event started early with some support bands, so the crew checked the technical side of things after breakfast. Soundguy Achim Koehler was in the club some weaks earlier with Edguy and he knows the location. The most important factor was to made it as comfortable as possible for Klaus to survive two shows... here is what our long time friend Andy has to report:

'Sinner entered the stage at 21.15h and everything worked like well oiled machine. Busting out the title track of their latest album Crash & Burn as the setlists opener, the stage was surrounded by permanent fire flashes and Henny, Christof, Klaus & Mat rocked the house, 'Connection' follwed by the all-time classic tracks 'Born To Rock' and 'Knife In My Heart' were highly welcomed by the crazy fans and everybody had a great time. Next was 'Fist To Face' incl. Klaus drum-solo and the long Jam-version of 'The Dog' featuring both guitarists. 'Germany Rocks' got a nice name change to 'Moscow Rocks' and the 1Rock Club was going crazy, followed by an exploding version of 'Rebel Yell' – at 22.10h Sinner said goodbye after the triumphal first visit in Russia and they won a lot of new fans here!

After their sensational show last year at Moscow’s Tochka Club Headliner Primal Fear hit the stage after their bombastic introduction and straight into 'Sign Of Fear' off their latest album New Religion. First of all, you saw smiling faces all over the musicians. You could already feel the great vibe in the band and stand in drummer Klaus Sperling still showed, that he is well prepared for this show! 'Battalions Of Hate', 'Running In The Dust' and all the hands of the venue were in the air. The thunderous life version of 'Nuclear Fire' was unbelievable powerful. Ralf Scheepers was running around the PA system all the other three guitarists was standing in a row surrounded by fire flames - what a great picture! 'Seven Seals' was next followed by the double bass attack of 'Angel In Black' – another highlight was the twin guitar solo of Henny & Magnus, really funny stuff and a technical masterpiece. Henny took over the microphone and guided the fans into a very groovy version of 'Under Your Spell'. The house was on fire and cooled down in blue lights and Ralf started singing the latest hit ballade 'Fighting The Darkness' – Moscow was impressed again! The concert ended with a nearly 15 minute earthquake in the name of 'Final Embrace' and 'Metal Is Forever' followed by a very mean version of Primal Fear’s first ever written song (Ralf) called 'Chainbreaker'. In a short time, Primal Fear found a new home in Moscow and are always welcomed to come back! Metalfans left the place, satisfied, smiling with a lot of respect for the acting musicians of Sinner and Primal Fear!'

Our special thanks to Klaus Sperling for his great performance and helping out in such a great way! Thanks to Flaming Arts and Vadim – our crew Achim, Diac, Tommy, Kurtchen and Velby for a fantastic job! More very special thanks to all our friends and fans in Moscow for another night of metal, we will never forget!"
