Although TO/DIE/FOR recently disbanded, vocalist Jape Perätalo has issued the following statement:

"Spring came to Finland and also my heart is healing a bit, I do not know about the other ex-TDF members. I have been writing with Joonas (guitar) and Josey (bass) and they're ok. I mean they do not sound like they would like to kill me.

Well... I have been talking with Josey, and maybe he will join with me to MARY-ANN! I started to plan new Mary-Ann album with Tonmi Lillman some months ago. For now we just would like to release an album full of garage/street rock and roll, as we did in 1997. No plans for doing any shows. When this all will happen? Who knows. But it surely will happen! No hurry with this.

Josey spend a few days with his punk band in studio, and Tonmi Lillman recorded it. So after that it was ok also for Tonmi that Josey would join to Mary-Ann.

About days after TDF.

Most of the people wrote very kind and nice words and letters for me. It felt good that someone really understood the whole situation! My biggest thanks for you all. And also it is been nice to see that many TDF fans followed me to the vale of crows. I mean SUNDOWN SINDROME of course! I remember only a few letters which said 'I hate you now Jape' and 'now Jape is the biggest asshole in the world.' It is nice to hear that TDF-was so big for someone that it really made me as biggest asshole in the whole world :) Welcome here and you can also lick that biggest asshole!

Also someone said 'Jape you ruined the other members life too.' Well you stupid little fat kitty listen: I am thinking other people too, but I have to live for myself. I am the lord of my life as I have said and also you should be lord of your life. I cannot ruin my own life for thinking some others life at all. If you are ready to do it... just go ahead! I have only one person to die for, and she is my daughter! About ruining someone's life with splitting up the band? Hey they can continue with other bands and do whatever they want! As I am doing also. If this ruins someone's world, there must be some more important things missed in their lives.
