Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Awards To Premier This Saturday; Preview On WWE Smackdown Friday

America’s first-ever hard rock and heavy metal music award show, the Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Awards, will premiere on MTV2 as a one-hour special this Saturday, May 2nd at 11 PM (ET)/10 PM (CT)/8 PM (PT). A special Headbanger’s Ball recap show will air at midnight (ET) and the awards will be rebroadcast at 2 AM (ET)/1 AM (CT)/11 PM (PT).
A preview segment with CM Punk is set to air during the WWE’s Smackdown on Friday, May 1st. On May 19th, look for Revolver magazine’s 2009 Golden Gods issue on stands everywhere.
Tune in Saturday to see blistering performances from the ultimate evening of heavy music including headliners MEGADETH, along with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, HATEBREED, ALL THAT REMAINS and SUICIDE SILENCE.
Rock legend OZZY OSBOURNE will also be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
