According to KISS News, KISS are in the German Top 100 single charts from June 8th, 2009. They re-enter the charts with 'I Was Made For Lovin' You' at # 98.

'I Was Made For Lovin' You' was voted the #1 greatest rock hit by the readers of Austria's Krone Newspaper recently.

The song was originally released on KISS' 1979 album Dynasty and it was released as the A-side of their first single from the album. It was the band's second Gold single, selling over 1 million copies.

According to Wikipedia, the song draws heavily from the disco style that was popular in the United States in the late 1970s. KISS guitarist and vocalist Paul Stanley, who co-wrote the song with Desmond Child and Vini Poncia, has stated that 'I Was Made For Lovin' You' was a conscious effort on his part to prove how easy it was to write and record a hit disco song.
