For more than 14 years now, the gigantic Przystanek Woodstock Festival is taking place in Poland. It was founded in 1995 as a form of thank you to the thousands of volunteers who collect donations each year for medical equipment, which is then distributed among Polish hospitals.

Przystanek Woodstock is really an exceptional festival. In 2004 more than 400,000 visitors attended the festival, which makes it the biggest free open-air festival in Europe. For 2009 more than 450,000 visitors are expected by the organisators. This year's festival will take place July 31st – August 2nd in Kostryn, Poland.

After playing a highly acclaimed performance at the 2008 edition of the Przystanek Woodstock Festival, CLAWFINGER was overwhelmingly voted best band of the festival and won the opportunity to play the Woodstock festival in 2009 again.

Clawfinger frontman Zak Tell: We salute you all for supporting Clawfinger, it means that you actually realize how much love, hunger and hard work Clawfinger put into doing fantistic shows, built not on fireworks & gimmicks but on communication & doing everything we can to erase the gap between us and the audience in every possible way! The party is our to enjoy, see you all in Woodstock. One love!
