As previously reported, NEBELHEXE and JARBOE will release the single 'Don't Kill The Animals', featuring CATTLE DECAPITATION's Travis Ryan, via iTunes on August 17th.

Travis Ryan comments: "Earlier this year I recorded some backups for an interesting song. I got an email from Jarboe asking if I wanted to do a cover of LENE LOVICH and NINA HAGEN's track from PETA's Animal Liberation Compilation called 'Don't Kill the Animals'. Of course I said yes because it just sounded so bizarre, busted out my old 12" vinyl copy to refresh my memory, recorded it real quick with my buddy Sal Gallegos (SOME GIRLS, SECRET FUN CLUB) and it ended up turning out pretty awesome. I do a few screams and other backup vocals... check it out!"

Candlelight Records recently reported: "This is a re-make of the 80's hit by Nina Hagen and Lene Lovich. Nebelhexe says she always loved the song and the message, and thus really wanted to do a modern cover version of it. She wants to remind us of a great song and a great message.

She thus invited US artist Jarboe (ex-SWANS) to join the project. Jarboe suggested Travis Ryan from vegan death-metal band Cattle Decapitation to be a part of it as well.

The song was arranged in the studio of Daniel Hill, who also plays with the electro-pop act MAGENTA. The result is a catchy club version that surely will fill many dance-floors as well as raise awareness for the ethical treatment of animals. "

In addition to 'Don't Kill The Animals', the single will also include the Nebelhexe tracks 'Living Trash' - a song about the ghastly animal industry from Nebelhexe's album Essensual - and 'Fallen (Angel)', a song from her new album Dead Waters.

Further updates to follow.
