THE GATHERING Taking Break Before Heading Back Out On The Road

Netherlands-based rockers THE GATHERING check in with the following update from Silje Wergeland:
"Hi all!It has been such great and hectic spring and summer for us. Looking back we feel we have done some amazing things together. What an adventure! Who would have thought this one year ago, in April, when Hans wrote me the very first email... We were of course hoping it all would go well with the announcement of me as the new singer, the new album and the live shows, but looking back now... it went beyond expectations really.
You guys embracing the album and the new lineup have been so wonderful. Thanks so much for all the positive support and nice comments you’ve given us!
I am writing this now as we will have a little break before we go back on the road again in October. We will of course continue working on several things for the next gigs, new material, maybe some new ‘old’ songs, new videos, etc., but we will also take some time off working independently on things and go on holiday to charge the batteries before autumn fully kicks in!
Hope you all enjoy the last weeks of summer!"
