As previously reported, from the ashes of some of Canada's most loved and influential rocks acts of the '80s - MOXY, SANTERS, KILLER DWARFS and LEE AARON - comes HARD ROAD, Canada's supergroup. According to frontman Russ Graham (ex-Killer Dwarfs) the band will play two shows in San Antonio, TX this weekend. Their schedule is as follows:

August

29 - Sunken Garden Theater - San Antonio, TX
30 - Sam Ash Music - San Antonio, TX

The band took part in the Clearfest Concert for Cancer Research at the Greater Northern Exhibition (GNE) Fairgrounds in Collingwood, ON on August 8th. Click here to view photos.

Capitalizing on the signature styles and diverse background of each of its members, Hard Road combines the eclectic and ripping guitar riffs of Earl Johnson of Moxy, the unmistakable vocal prowess and stage antics of Russ Graham of Killer Dwarfs, the driving backbone of Santer's bassist Rick Lazaroff and the powerhouse drumming of Morgan Evans.

New song clips from Hard Road can be heard on their Facebook page (left-hand-side of page) at this location.

Having been rehearsing and writing material since its inception in April 2008, Hard Road is currently recording new, unreleased material as well as performing reworks of hits from their past. Watch for a new album coming in 2009.

The line up consists of:

Russ Graham (Killer Dwarfs, Moxy): lead vocals, guitar

Earl Johnson (Moxy, King Biscuit Boy): guitar, vocals

Rick Lazaroff (Santers): bass

Morgan Evans (Lee Aaron, Julliet, Killer B): drums
