SEKOND SKYN are on the verge of taking their metal to the people - up close and personal - with a string of live dates to support their latest release, Addicted to Chaos.

The second full-length overall from this New Jersey-based band has caused quite a stir thus far, as they recently reached #6 on FMQB’s “Most Added” with 28 adds, and #6 on CMJ’s “Most Added” with 53 adds. Additionally, Sekond Skyn has appeared on the European compilation, Born to Rock 2009 (which also featured such renowned rock names as AC/DC, KID ROCK and METALLICA), and has won a multitude of awards and contests - including winning the “Opening Act Band Search Winner” in 2006 and 2007 for the ‘Family Values Tour.’

Furthermore, Sekond Skyn has received a steady wave of media acclaim, the latest being from Chorusandverse.com, which raved “Sekond Skyn continues to put forth thought-provoking, emotion-evoking music, with an atmospheric two-guitar attack, soul-penetrating rhythm section and unrelenting vocal performances.”

Formed in late 2005, Sekond Skyn - which is comprised of members Jon Follet - vocals, Eddie Heedles - guitar, Mark Monjoy - guitar, George Pond - bass, and Tommy Spano - drums and back-up vocals - has been rocking audiences with a high octane metallic mixture that manages to be both modern and heavy. And on the strength of such earlier releases as 2006’s Let the Fire Burn and 2007’s self-titled EP, the group has set the stage perfectly for Addicted to Chaos (which includes a metal-ized cover of MEN AT WORK's 'Down Under', as well as such originals as 'Scorned' and 'Heroin Within'). After a few spins, Addicted to Chaos will lead you to being addicted to the hard hitting sounds of Sekond Skyn.

George says - "For me it has to do with playing with two New Jersey legends. and playing in front of one of my idols every night. The tour also gives the band validity and exposes us to the BLS family [referencing CYCLE OF PAIN, which includes BLS bassist John DeServio]. It has to be one of the best fan bases out there."

Mark ads - "Sekond Skyn on tour with Cycle Of Pain will be full of ADRENALINE FUELED HARD DRIVEN MUSIC that will ROCK all who witness the show. Going to be a great time out on the road with Cycle Of Pain!"

And about touring with LIVING COLOUR, Tommy offers, "Bad-ass!! I've always been a fan of Will's and the whole band. They're all awesome musicians and I'm sure we'll be able to learn a lot from them. "

Jon says, "Honestly, I'm excited and stoked. Its a great opportunity for us to be on the road with a band of this caliber. "
