Friday and Saturday, KISS rekindles its relationship with the Motor City when it returns to Cobo Arena, the site of its landmark 1975 Alive! LP.

"We're saluting the place that gave us a shot," KISS bassist and figurehead Gene Simmons tells the Detroit News, who says the band will play Alive! in its entirety during the Cobo shows. "Yes, it's a concert. But for us it means something more."

Walmart Detroit area stores now have their KISS Korners open and stocked with KISS masks, M&M; candies, music, make up, wigs and Mr. Potato Head collector toys to celebrate the band's national tour and first concert tonight in Detroit - click photo to view the KISS Korner. Walmarts nationwide will launch KISS Korners on October 6, the day the band's Sonic Boom album is released exclusively at the chain.
