CLOVEN HOOF Part Ways With Singer

NWOBHM legends CLOVEN HOOF have issued the following update:
"Russ North has left Cloven hoof to pursue a solo singing career away from heavy metal. The band wish him luck in his new venture. The Barbaars festival in Holland and the Newcastle Cluny shows will have to be cancelled as result of Russ’s departure, but a vocalist will be in place for the Hard Rock Hell festival in December. A new singer will be announced shortly.Lee (Payne - bass), Jon (Brown - drums) and Ben (Read - guitar) are currently in pre production working with producer Tom Galley (PHENOMENA) on the next album. It is scheduled for release in the spring of 2010 and will be Cloven Hoof‘s darkest and most epic like opus yet."
