Classic Rock Magazine last night named CHICKENFOOT as 2009's Best New Band at their annual awards ceremony that took place at London's Park Lane Hotel. While unable to attend the London ceremony, the band recorded a personalized video acceptance speech which played out to rapturous applause.

The star studded event was attended by such legends as Jimmy Page of LED ZEPPELIN, Pete Townshend of THE WHO, Ron Wood of THE ROLLING STONES, Brian May of QUEEN, Joe Perry of AEROSMITH, JEFF BECK, Paul Rodgers of BAD COMPANY, IGGY POP, SLASH (ex-GUNS' ROSES), Tony Iommi of BLACK SABBATH, Joey Tempest of EUROPE, Ginger Baker of CREAM, Chrissie Hynde of THE PRETENDERS, Carl Palmer of ELP and members of IRON MAIDEN, ANTHRAX, ANVIL, MARILLION, ZZ TOP, URIAH HEEP and MOTT THE HOOPLE.

The prestigious award follows a successful year for the band, including sold out concerts and their debut album going Gold in America. The band - comprised of former VAN HALEN and MONTROSE vocalist Sammy Hagar, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and world renowned electric guitarist JOE SATRIANI - will release a Deluxe Limited Edition of their eponymous debut album, exclusively through Best Buy on November 1st in North America and in the UK on Monday November 9th through the earMUSIC label

Chickenfoot’s Deluxe Limited Edition will feature a reverse design from that which was featured on their self-titled debut. The original black album artwork was printed with heat sensitive ink and the new design will feature a white background printed with flourescent ink. In addition, the package will include one bonus track, 'Bitten By The Wolf', and a bonus DVD containing an hour of behind the scenes footage of the band, music videos, interviews and concert footage from their European and US Tours. It will be available initially for a sale price of $9.99, exclusively through Best Buy.

The third full-length music video from Chickenfoot self-titled Chickenfoot debut is called 'Sexy Little Thing' and can be viewed below:
