HADES/NON-FICTION guitarist Dan Lorenzo checks in with the following update:
"Finally. I'm a male model. It's about time.Did I suddenly become good looking? Yes. Kind of.
Two weeks ago my wife and I were in South Beach. If you've ever been to South Beach you know-it's the land of thin, tan people. Even the house moms show off their gorgeous, tan, velvety legs while they push their kids around in strollers. Nobody ever notices me.
Ok-once, I got approached by a fan on Lincoln Road who actually recognized me from my MySpace page, but no girls were sweating me. Then one night I bought a Red Monkey hat. My wife and I went in to a store on Washington Ave. to buy some water. The Latino girls behind the counter seemed to be smiling at me. As we walked out my wife told me they said, 'Muy Guapo'. I assumed that was Spanish for, 'What the hell is SHE doing with HIM', but my wife told me it actually means "very handsome".
I have to assume it's all because of my Red Monkey hat.
