Alen L., vocalist for Mannheim-based GLOOMBALL - now featuring ex-CIVILIZATION ONE / ex-MAJESTY guitarist Björn Daigger - has issued the following update:

"We are finally done with the mix and master of our new promo-tracks. We been busy lately, since we've choosen to do everything by ourselves. We moved into our first own studio and had to figure out the best way to record our new stuff. And I must say that in the end it turned out to be pretty cool! Björn Daigger (ex-Majesty, ex-Civilization One) and me took care of the songwriting. Working with him is great and he fits perfectly into the band. We are very glad that we made the decision to become a five-piece band! Our new drummer, Mike Theuer, did a great job as well. Things work perfectly and we can't wait to get some tracks online for you guys!

Currently we are taking care of a new MySpace layout which will also be the cover of our new promo CD. We have a photo shoot coming up in February.

Furthermore, we are looking for live shows. We wanna do as much shows as we can cause obviously that's what it's all about. Can't wait to present the new lineup on stage!

Lately I've read false information on the internet about Gloomball. A lot of unconfirmed gigs posted everywhere which we are not responsible for. Still I read about certain people who are definitely NOT members of Gloomball. The only reliable source considering live shows, current lineup, news etc. will always be our official MySpace page or our upcoming website. Please keep that in mind.

New promo tracks:

'Hands In Blood'

'Nothing Lasts Forever'

'Bitter Place'

Stay tuned! Feels good to be back!"
