VALKYRIE'S CRY - New Album To Be Themed Around Spartacus; Band Seeking North American Management

Toronto-based metallers VALKYRIE'S CRY have commenced work on the follow-up to 2009's self-titled album which was recorded at Toronto’s famed Metal Works Studios (owned by TRIUMPH's Gil Moore) and released by the German Pure Steel Records. The 11-track opus took "the barbaric sound of the band to new heights of power and fury."

Valkyrie's Cry look to release a brand new single called 'Ludus Magnus' and some other newer songs, possibly a cover, by the end of 2010. The track 'Ludus Magnus' is to be part of the the band's next album, which is to be themed around Spartacus, who was the most notable leader of the slaves in the Third Servile War, a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic.

The band are also currently seeking a solid a management company in North America who can "take them to the next level."
