DARK TRANQUILLITY To Return To North America In May

As the opening act for both DEVIL WEARS PRADA and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, Gothenburg's DARK TRANQUILLITY sat down with BraveWords.com during the stop at House Of Blues, in Atlantic City, NJ, where they aired two tracks off the forthcoming We Are The Void, 'Dream Oblivion' and 'At The Point Of Ignition'. "This is a big audience that we haven't played to, so for this tour we decided to play the two (new) songs that are up on our MySpace," says frontman Mikael Stanne. "We're doing some (one-off) headlining dates on this tour and we'll probably do five songs (off Void)."
A review of show, photo gallery and interview with Stanne will be posted shortly. During the conversation, he confirmed that the band will return to North America in May for a headlining run, hitting many of the cities missed by the current tour, although he refused to give details on the support acts. "It's going to be a big tour, like six weeks." More details as they become available.
