MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx spoke to USA Today about his radio show with co-host Kerri Kasem (daughter of countdown king Casey Kasem) called Sixx Sense (Monday through Friday, 7 p.m.-midnight ET/PT) and weekend companion Side Show Countdown With Nikki Sixx.

Here are a few excerpts from the chat:

USA Today: It seems as if you and OZZY would have a lot to talk about. Do you know him well?

Sixx: "Me and Ozzy are neighbors. My world is a disaster because I was walking down the street and I jumped the fence at my kids' school and Alex Van Halen screams at me, 'There's no trespassing!' And I start laughing because I've been busted by the drummer of VAN HALEN. Then I walk around the corner, and I run into SLASH, who's on his way to Ozzy's house."

USA Today: If you could get anyone to sit down for an interview in your studio, who would it be?

Sixx: "I don't want to interview people. I want to have a conversation. I want to talk to PAUL MCCARTNEY about the bass sound on The White Album. I want to talk to (DAVID) BOWIE about the artwork on Diamond Dogs. I want to talk to the guys in METALLICA about the differences between their albums now and their first album. I want to talk to new bands about technology and how they're making rock records in their bedrooms."

USA Today: What kind of conversations do you plan to have?

Sixx: "Near the studio, there's a mental institution. I said to some of the higher-ups at Premiere (Radio Networks), we should go there and get some of the institutionalized people and bring them over. They looked at me like I was truly insane."
