April 26, 2010, 14 years ago
Despite volcanoes and visa issues, Norway's 1349 have arrived in North America.
The band was forced to cancel the first several dates on their tour, supporting CANNIBAL CORPSE, including a stop at this past weekend's New England Metal And Hardcore Fest.
The band appeared last night at the show in Farmingdale, NY, and will continue on the tour through the Hollywood, CA date, at the House of Blues on May 6th.
The complete tour schedule can be found at this location.
Their new album, Demonoir, their fifth overall, comes out tomorrow (April 27th) in North America. To mark the release, notorious metal hangout, Duff's Bar in Brooklyn, NY will be hosting a meet and greet and listening party with the band, tonight. Starts at 9 PM and the bar is located at 168 Marcy Avenue, between S. 5th & Broadway, in Williamsburg.
Prosthetic Records has launched the pre-order for the North American versions of the album; a digipack CD and a limited edition (only 666 made) 12" picture disc LP. The CD and LP can be purchased individually or together, or in a bundle with a t-shirt. Pre-order yours now at the Prosthetic Records webstore.
