Former BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE Guitarist Charged With Sexual Exploitation

Tim Bachman, former guitarist and member of Canadian rock band BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE, has been charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, said Abbotsford police.
Bachman, 58, has been charged with sexual interference of a person under 14 years, touching a young person for sexual purpose and sexual assault.
The charges are related to incidents that involved a woman who would have been between the ages of 11 and 14 when the crimes allegedly occurred between 2000 and 2002.
The alleged victim and Bachman had known each other, said Abbotsford police Const. Ian MacDonald. She approached Abbotsford police in March 2009. After an 11-month investigation, a warrant was issued for Bachman's arrest. Bachman, who has been living in Abbotsford for the last decade, turned himself in on May 6.
