BRET MICHAELS Forced To Cancel Washington Date Due To Poor Ticket Sales

According to Wenatcheeworld.com, POISON frontman and reality TV star BRET MICHAELS has canceled a Yakima, WA concert scheduled for Saturday.
Michaels simply did not sell enough tickets to make the performance at Yakima County Stadium worthwhile, said Cheryl Salomone, Yakima general manager for Townsquare Media.
The tour company, Artist Representation and Management of Minnesota, told KATS about the cancellation Tuesday afternoon, Salomone said.
“Very disappointing,” she said. “We heard a lot of people talking about it, but people just didn’t buy tickets.”As of Monday, only about 600 of the 3,500 available tickets had sold, Salomone said. She blamed a combination of factors — an outdoor show with uncertain weather predictions, the all-general-admission ticket policy and a weary ticket-buying public.
