ION VEIN Welcomes New Singer, Resume Recording New Album
November 10, 2010, 14 years ago
Chicago metallers, ION VEIN, welcome the addition of vocalist, Scott Featherstone, to the group’s ranks. Featherstone is best known for his work with upstate New York’s pure American metal band, Enertia.
Commented the band in the following statement: “We’re absolutely stoked to announce the addition of Scott to the Ion Vein family; his voice is exactly what we’ve been searching for, he’s breathed new life and new energy into the songs, and the band as well!”
Guitarist/founder, Chris Lotesto, continued: “I’ve been a huge fan of Scott’s since our bands first played together almost 10 years ago, and the work he did on the last Enertia record, Force, with Neil Kernon (NILE, NEVERMORE, QUEENSRŸCHE) producing was fantastic! So, being able to bring him into the fold and into the studio with Neil once again, was very, very exciting to say the least.”
Ion Vein recently entered the studio with producer, Neil Kernon, at the helm once again, to resume recording their long awaited third album. The hunt for a new label home will begin upon completion.
Additionally, Ion Vein’s long out of print debut album, Beyond Tomorrow, is finally available for digital download along with their follow up, Reigning Memories. Both can be found at CDbaby, iTunes, Amazon, and everywhere cool music is sold on-line.
