Steve Newton at Vancouver-based Straight.com recently caught up with drummer Jason Bonham to discuss the LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE. Following is Bonham's reaction to Newton's clain that Keith Moon was the greatest drummer that ever lived:
"Yeah, Keith was an innovative guy," replied Bonham. "I think he was a little bit more erratic than dad; he was a little bit off the cuff, you know. Sometimes replicating Keith on THE WHO track—he hit cymbals where it just naturally wouldn't be. He was very bizarre in that area, but phenomenal. I'm a huge Keith Moon and The Who fan, and when I do drum seminars and clinics I play Who songs, and Zeppelin, 'cause those are the things that turned me on: GENESIS, Who, and Zeppelin."Click here for Bonham's thoughts on RUSH drummer Neil Peart.

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience, which celebrates the life and music of his father - the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham - kicked off on October 8th at the Encana Events Centre in Dawson Creek, B.C. Bonham's band included singer James Dylan, guitarist Tony Catania, bassist Michael Devin and keyboardist Stephen LeBlanc.
