JAG PANZER's original guitarist Mark Briody has opted into the internet world, responding to fan inquiries on the BraveWords.com forum - the Braveboard.

"I agree that it's been FAR too long since our last release. We were held up for years by the 'live album' clause in our Century Media contract. We loved the idea of doing a live album, but for $3k that just wasn't possible. However, in all fairness to Century Media, they did release us from our deal when we asked to be let go. That was actually very cool of them, many labels would have just held on to us until we delivered. I scrapped most of the material I had written when Chris Broderick (now in MEGADETH) was in the band. I like to write for the band, not write my own tunes and have the band play them. So I had some tunes written with Chris in mind. Once we got settled in with Christian on lead guitar, both him and I started writing material for 'Scourge'. I'm really pleased with Scourge Of The Light but honestly, doesn't every musician say that about the new album?"

Jag Panzer's new album, Scourge Of The Light, is slated for a February 2011 release through SPV. The album tracklist as follows:

'Condemned To Fight'

'The Setting Of The Sun'

'Bringing On The End'

'Call To Arms'

'Cycles'

'Overlord'

'Let It Out'

'Union'

'Burn'

The Book Of Kells'
