AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK underwent a much needed rejuvenation period over the past year only to ultimately grow stronger and evolve together as a more focused unit. They were also recently hailed by Playboy's Kylie Johnson (pictured at left) as one of her favorite bands (see more here).

The product of this new dynamic is a vicious new full-length album, Instinct, which is set for a March 15th release (Mediaskare). Look for them on The Atticus Metal Tour with DARKEST HOUR, BORN OF OSIRIS and THE HUMAN ABSTRACT. SLEEPING GIANT will be special guests on all westcoast dates and look for other special openers on other shows depending on the region.

This monstrous trek, which kicks off on February 25th in Washington, DC at the 930 Club will also serve as Darkest Hour's record release show.

Lech (drums) and Nick (bass) further comment: "We don't think anyone truly understands how much the odds were really against us. It felt like we were stuck in quicksand. The harder we tried to pull ourselves out, the further we sank. It came to a point where we felt alone and betrayed. It was like everybody around us wrote us off and everyone else expected us to give up. But in reality, it just fueled our drive to get this record done and to give our fans what they truly deserve and have so patiently waited for. That is essentially what this new album is about, overcoming obstacles and following your instincts.
