Germany's DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER will release their new album, Moral & Wahnsinn, via Nuclear Blast Records on February 25th. The band's new video, for the track 'Dr. Pest', can be seen below:

Preparations are running at full speed for spring shows in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. Advance ticket sales indicate that the tour will be a mammoth success, and now the band have announced additional tour details.

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter will tour Russia for the fourth time. Over the past few years, the band have created abundant exhilaration in Russian cities, from Moscow to St. Petersburg, from Kiev to Rostov and Kradnodar. Just recently, the Moscow press praised Die Apokalyptischen Reiter as follows: “We are grateful to Die Apokalyptischen Reiterfor the most wonderful and remarkable live concert ever witnessed by Moscow.” Even the St. Petersburg papers did not hold back: “Die Apokalyptischen Reiter shock everyone, the audience, the media and even the promoters. This was a world class spectacle, one of the most memorable and marvelous concerts in the history of St. Petersburg.”

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter are saddling their horses and prepare to ride the wide plains and striking mountains of Mother Russia during the month of May. This time, their journey will take them as far as the Ural!

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter are streaming a new song from Moral & Wahnsinn (Morality & Insanity), on their official MySpace page. The new album will be released on February 25th via Nuclear Blast as a regular CD, limited edition CD/DVD and vinyl. Check out the track 'Die Boten' here.

Moral & Wahnsinn was recorded at the Principal Studios in Münster, Germany and produced by the band plus Vincent Sorg who also took care of the previous Licht and Riders On The Storm. He also handled mixing and mastering.

The band remark: "We have left the studio with the feeling to have created something unique, something no one has ever done before and preserved it for eternity. Insanity is fantasy, morality a barren womb."
