According to Rob Williams from Winnipegfreepress.com, Manitoba Rocking Breast Cancer at the Palomino Club is being held on Tuesday, April 26th and features Canuck classic rockers HARLEQUIN and an all-star group put together by SLASH's drummer Brent Fitz, a Winnipegger whose career includes stints with VINCE NEIL and ALICE COPER. Fitz has recruited his Slash bandmate Todd Kerns (ex-AGE OF ELECTRIC), SHANIA TWAIN/KELLY CLARKSON guitarist Cory Churko and Spider Sinnaeve, a local Winnipeg legend who has played with the likes of LOVERBOY, STREETHEART, KIM MITCHELL AND TOM COCHRANE (to name a few) to form an all-star band.

The show was nearly sold out at press time, but anyone interested in purchasing a $25 ticket can call the bar at 772-0454.

Bartender Scott Townsend has collected an impressive lineup of raffle prizes, including guitars donated from St. John's Music and autographed by Slash and the all-star band, a trip to Las Vegas and concert tickets.

Townsend hopes to raise about $20,000 and make it an annual event. The show starts at 9 p.m.
