PENTAGRAM To Tour This Summer With VALIENT THORR, JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD

PENTAGRAM, the all star doom duo of Bobby Liebling / Victor Griffin, along with bandmates Greg Turley and new drummer Albert Born, will be hitting the road for the band's first official US headline tour in support of their new album, Last Rites.

To help celebrate the band's 40th anniversary, Pentagram will hit the US tour trail this coming August with support coming from VALIENT THORR and JEFF THE BROTHERHOOD.

This is the same duo that stunned over 2,000 people at 2010's Maryland Deathfest and became the most talked about set of the weekend. That historic set was filmed, mastered, and will be released on DVD under the title, When the Screams Come by Metal Blade on August 16th. And due to high demand, Last Rites will be made available on vinyl in North America on the same date. Pre-orders for the DVD, When The Screams Come and vinyl for Last Rites will be made available at this location.

Tour dates are being booked now and will be announced soon.

Pentagram released Last Rites on April 8th/11th via Metal Blade Records in Europe, and April 12th via Metal Blade Records in North America.

Cover art for Last Rites was handled by Mo Moussa, who is best known for his work with Marvel & DC Comics. Mo Moussa's other credentials include New Line Cinema, Nickelodeon as well as the four major TV networks. A Philly native and a huge fan of underground music, his work also graces the covers of several of his favorite local bands including TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION.
