Earlier this month, TANK played during Metal Hammer Festival in Spodek, Katowice. The band's singer, DOOGIE WHITE, used his stay in Poland to participate in the shooting of the video clip for KRUK's song, 'In Reverie'.

After his guest appearance on the band's album, It Will Not Come Back (released by Metal Mind Production in June), the time came to appear in the band's video as well. White willingly agreed to cooperate with the Polish musicians, sparing no compliments. Soon, a mutual understanding between the artists was born, which influenced the atmosphere on the set. We will have a chance to see the results of this cooperation in mid-October when the video is released.

In the meantime, Metal Mind Productions has put a photo gallery from the set on their Facebook profile. Check it out at this location.

Piotr Brzychcy, Kruk's guitarist, describes the band's work with Doogie White: "Doogie isn't only a great singer, but also a wonderful man. On the set of the video for 'In Reverie' he created a friendly atmosphere, which influenced everyone so much that soon we all forgot about the stress that took hold of us at first. He motivated us to forget about all our inhibitions and to feel the rock 'n' roll madness. We also heard lots of various stories from White's colorful history, usually full of vivid details of the kind that you would never find in a interview. On that day, however, what was the most important for us was the words of acknowledgment and praise which he expressed on several occasions with reference to Kruk."

Metal Mind Productions recently announced the release of Doogie White’s solo album, As Yet Untitled, due out October 24th in Europe and November 7th of in USA (via MVD). The artwork and tracklisting can be viewed below:

Tracklist:

'Come Taste the Band'

'Time Machine'

'Dreams Lie Down and Die'

'Lonely'

'Land of the Deceiver'

'Secret Jesus'

'Sea of Emotion'

'Catz got yer Tongue'

'Living on the Cheap'

'Times like These'

This Scottish vocalist came to the attention of the worldwide audience when Ritchie Blackmore asked him to be the lead singer in his reformed RAINBOW. They recorded one album together - Stranger in Us All. Doogie would go on to sing with Swedish neo-classical guitarist YNGWIE MALMSTEEN for over a six and a half year period, record two albums and tour the world. He also recorded four albums and toured with CORNERSTONE and is currently the lead singer of Tank.

Doogie White will release his first solo album through Metal Mind Productions in October. The album called As Yet Untitled is a collection of ten dramatic and hard hitting rock songs co-written by White and some good friends he has made over the years on the rock scene.

White says, “I always thought my first solo album should be called this. The journalists at Sounds and Kerrang! always had a line that so and so are in the studio recording an album, as yet untitled… Well now I have actually done that. I always like to be part of a band but I found myself isolated for a short while and decided to record some of the songs that I had been working on, while either on the road or back at home. I won’t sit around and wait for the phone to ring. A bored Doogie is a dangerous thing! I gathered the good and the great, companions who had travelled the world with me at various times. Friends who I knew were outstanding players and to a man and one beautiful woman they gave freely of their talents and time. I am forever in their debt.”

The list of guest musicians involved in the recording of As Yet Untitled looks impressive:

Patrick Johansson (Yngwie Malmsteen), Thomas Broman (GLENN HUGHES) – drums

Derek Sherinian (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION), Tony Carey (Rainbow) – bass

Neil Murray (WHIRESNAKE), Greg Smith (TED NUGENT), Paul Logue (EDENS CURSE) - keyboards

Pontus Norgren (HAMMERFALL), Marcus Jidell (ROYAL HUNT), Phil Hilborne (Queen Musical), Mick Tucker (Tank) - guitars

Patti Russo (Meatloaf, Cher) - guest vocals

The album was recorded at various studios in Florida, Germany, and Scotland but most of the production was handled in Sweden with Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall) at the helm.

White: “Pontus and I became great friends through our time with Yngwie. He shone a bright light on the songs with his production. He brought a certain calmness to the madness and made sure that everything that was in the song had to be there for a reason. Even when the hard drive with the initial mixes was stolen, I knew that Pontus could sort it out.”

Metal Mind Productions set the release date for October 24th in Europe and November 7th of in USA (via MVD).
