hot flashes news paradise lost

Greece's Rock Overdose conducted an interview recently with drummer Adrian Erlandsson (PARADISE LOST, AT THE GATES, VALLENFYRE and NEMHAIN).

Rock Overdose: What’s the latest news about Paradise Lost?

Erlandsson: "Paradise lost are writing songs for a new album, we are due to be in the studio in the middle of November. It will be released early next year. Also the Draconian Times DVD is due for release on November 7th. It features the show from the Draconian Times tour earlier this year in London. It sounds incredible!!"

Rock Overdose: Which are your next plans as a band?

Erlandsson: "Record and release the new album and then go on tour.

Rock Overdose: We heard about the new project of Vallenfyre. What little secrets can you tell me about this new.

Erlandsson: "Vallenfyre is not a secret anymore. The 7' EP is released and the album will be released on the October 31st through Century Media. If you like old school death metal check it out!!!"

Rock Overdose: If I asked you to choose the best part of your music career which part of your life would you choose. We all know that you had also a very interesting past as a drummer.

Erlandsson: "I love creating new music so I have been very fortunate to do this for a long time. The highlight for me during the recent years since leaving Cradle of filth in 2006 has been forming NEMHAIN and releasing our debut album, the At The Gates reunion in 2008 and joining Paradise Lost. All amazing moments of my journey in music."

Rock Overdose: What are the memories that you have from the earlier years with At The Gates and Cradle Of Filth?

Erlandsson: "At the gates was my first real band and by that i mean a band that released anything and played gigs so i have great memories from this time period which was relived during the reunions. Cradle of filth also had some great times but it was a band that was already established when i joined and already had its style set out. A lot of good times still though. However they ran out and we went separate ways."
