MAYAN To Perform Two Sets Each Night On Upcoming South America Tour; Schedule Updated With Central American Shows

It was recently reported that MAYAN - featuring EPICA members Mark Jansen, Simone Simons, Isaac Delahaye and Ariën Van Weesenbeek - would perform some Epica tracks during the band's upcoming South American tour. According to an update from the band , "songs from the album Quarterpast will be played, plus a second 50 minute set with all kinds of surprises plus some Epica classics, of course."

MaYan's debut album, Quarterpast, was released in North America on July 12th, and in Europe on May 20th via Nuclear Blast Records.
The tracks ‘Celibate Aphrodite’ and ‘Drown The Demon’ can be heard on the band’s Facebook page.
Quarterpast features guest vocalists Epica’s Simone Simons, Floor Jansen (REVAMP, ex-AFTER FOREVER), Henning Basse (SONS OF SEASONS), and soprano Laura Macrì. The album also features Epica guitarist/composer Mark Jansen, Epica drummer Ariën van Weesenbeek, and Epica guitarist Isaac Delahaye.
