On January 7th, the members of the 80's North Carolina Metal band MAXX WARRIOR reunited for the 2nd Annual Cliff Jackson Memorial Concert at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC. The band featured original members vocalist CJ Snare (FIREHOUSE / RUBICON CROSS), bassist Perry Richardson (ex-FIREHOUSE), guitarists Al Eddins & Jeff Boatwright plus Scott Atkins. Taking on drum duties was Jason Patterson (CRY OF LOVE/COC). The band was joined by guest including members of of Raleigh classic rockers NANTUCKET and by RUBICON CROSS / FURYON guitarist Chris Green.
Green joined for a few Rubicon Cross and Firehouse numbers. This marked the first time Maxx Warrior had performed since 1986 and the first time Snare and Richardson had shared the stage together since Richardson left Firehouse in the year 2000.

The group's four-song EP from 1985 (Executive Records) has become quite a sought-after collectable for metal fans worldwide.
