On April 10th, DEMON HUNTER will release their sixth full-length album, True Defiance, via Solid State Records.

The band have unveiled the official video for the song, 'My Destiny', filmed by lauded director Robby Starbuck, whose credits range from OTEP and AUGUST BURNS RED to SMASHING PUMPKINS and SNOOP DOGG. Check it out below:

Demon Hunter recently offered fans a first taste of what is to come when they dropped the track 'Someone To Hate'. Now, the band are offering fans a unique opportunity to put their own spin on the song via a remix contest hosted by premier online music creation site, Indaba Music.

Indaba’s 650,000-strong community of musicians can now download the individual vocal, guitar, bass, drum, synth, and other tracks that make up 'Someone To Hate' and use them to create their own remix. Submissions will be judged by the band themselves, with the Grand Prize Winner receiving an official release for their track on Demon Hunter's longtime label, Solid State Records, in addition to a hefty $1,000 prize. They will also receive a signed copy of Demon Hunter's self-titled album and a one-year Pro Membership to Indaba Music. Five Honorable Mentions, chosen by the band from among the 10 most popular remixes, will receive a signed copy of Demon Hunter's self-titled album and a one-year Pro Membership to Indaba.

"I'm extremely stoked about this contest," exclaims frontman and mastermind, Ryan Clark. "I'm a huge fan of electronic music, so this is really exciting for me. I can't wait to hear the crazy and unique ideas people will inject into this song. I think remixing a song this fast and heavy might be a challenge, but I think it will yield really interesting results because of that. Go crazy!"
