XANDRIA Bassist Undergoes Hand Surgery, Forced To Sit Out Upcoming EPICA Support Tour

XANDRIA bassist Nils Middelhauve underwent emergency surgery twice in the course of the past week after severely injuring his right forefinger on stage during a support show for EPICA. The injury eventually led to a serious blood poisoning after the last show.
Middelhauve is unable to perform and is forced to sit out the band's upcoming European tour with Epica and STREAM OF PASSION. They have tapped SERENITY's Fabio d’Amore as a stand-in, ensuring that Xandria will play all scheduled dates on the tour.
