HUNTRESS vocalist Jill Janus is featured in a new video interview with Noa Avior at Metal Injection, conducted on March 31st in New York City. Check it out below:
As previously reported, Huntress will release their debut album, Spell Eater, on April 27th in Europe and on May 8th in North America. The album's title track is streaming at this location.

According to a press release, "Huntress was birthed in the underground of Highland Park, California, clawing at the roots of heavy metal. Lead singer Jill Janus is an operatic banshee with an unparalleled four-octave range and lust for the occult. Born and raised in the Catskill Mountains of New York, she toured Europe as a teenage opera starlet. Upon her return to the States, Janus embraced Manhattan nightlife, creating Felliniesque cabarets and parties in a nihilistic club scene. Years later, Janus moved to Los Angeles and began the gestation period of Huntress."
The first single from the band's upcoming debut album is called 'Eight Of Swords ' and can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Simon Chan of Artificial Army and was produced/engineered by Chris Rakestraw of Sunset Lodge Recording.
