RIVAL SONS have been confirmed as the main support act for GUNS N' ROSES for two shows in Europe this summer, at Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands on June 4th, and then at the Warsteiner Hockey Park in Mönchengladbach, Germany on June 8th.

Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holiday comments: "What a great, great opportunity to get these shows supporting Guns N' Roses! Germany has been great to us, and this will only help us reach out to so many more people over there. As far as Guns goes... I remember the first time those guys were ever on MTV, me and my best mate were watching. A total shock to the system, and to me and my friends' lives. We were really young little dudes, but we already loved our rock 'n' roll, and Guns just reeked of reality and grit... I mean they were literally very dirty. And we LOVED it. They ushered in a lot more 'real' and dirtiness to a scene that had become way too fruity-pants. As a wee guitar-playing lad, I couldn't get enough of Appetite For Destruction and Lies. Ready to see and hear some of those first tunes played live!"

Rival Sons' new video, for the track 'Face Of Light', is now online. The video sees a softer side of the band as they go through the beautiful scenery of the Peak District in the English countryside. The video was filmed with director Dan Ruttley during the band's recent sold-out UK tour with BLACK STONE CHERRY.

Frontman Jay Buchanan comments: "I am happy to say that our record Pressure & Time is about to give us our third single with the song 'Face Of Light'. This is a very special song to us and I am delighted to put out a single with a positive message that can still break a tooth. Three singles from one record; I am so thankful for the support we've been shown. This will more than likely be our last single from the P&T; record, so it's a fitting farewell to an unforgettable year with a song so personally close to the vest for me."

Rival Sons have confirmed dates for a new European tour, which kicks off on May 28th at the Netherlands' Pinkpop festival.

Following a recent sold out UK tour with Black Stone Cherry and a successful headlining run through Europe, Rival Sons will be returning this summer for a number of festival appearances and headlining shows. The band have also been revealed as the headliners for Rock The Queen, a one-day event which takes place aboard the historic Queen Mary ship in Long Beach Harbour, California.

Guitarist Scott Holiday comments: "Much love and thanks goes out to our UK and European fans who've made our last tour a complete crazy badass success. We got to visit a bunch of new places on this one and were warmly welcomed every night, like we were with old friends. Pretty damn lovely.

Now that we're back home, we'll be getting a little (very little) R&R;, wrapping up all the details for our next record (due out late summer), and even adding a local show on the legendary Queen Mary! We'll be headlining the Queen's Salon, a really beautiful, old, haunted looking theatre on the ship. These local shows have become quite rare for us these days, so we wanted to make this one a special one.

Lastly, as soon as we've now returned home, we're already announcing our eminent return to the UK and Europe. More dates to come, but here's what we've got thus far. Festival season is growing nearer and nearer still... And we'll do as many as we can fit on our schedule.

Knock knock. Who's there? Rock 'n' roll. Rock 'n' roll who? Rock 'n' roll is gonna punch you in the face this summer so you better pull up your pants and get ready."
