Tales From The Stage, Volume 1 is a non-fiction book consisting of in-depth interviews with hard rock and metal music professionals that helped shape the hard rock and heavy metal movement.
Tales From The Stage, Volume 1 includes 60-70 question interviews with 15 hard rock insiders; Bruce Kulick (KISS, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD), Jay Reynolds (MALICE, METAL CHURCH), Herman Rarebell (SCORPIONS), Tim “Ripper” Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, DIO DISCIPLES), Eddie Trunk (Radio/TV personality), Jeff Duncan (ARMORED SAINT, DC4), Tracii Guns (L.A. GUNS), Paul Shortino (QUIET RIOT, KING KOBRA), Chris Holmes (W.A.S.P.), Oz Fox (STRYPER), Steve “Lips” Kudlow (ANVIL), Betsy Bitch (BITCH), Ron Keel (KEEL, STEELER), Brian Slagel (CEO Metal Blade Records), and Brian Tichy (WHITESNAKE, FOREIGNER).
Tales From The Stage, Volume 1 has partnered with the non-profit organization, Ride for Dime (RFD). A portion of all book sales will be donated to RFD which is committed to furthering music education for America’s youth. Michael Toney also co-authored the book Tales from the Cage, which was of a similar format, focusing on the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
